Do players need an app?

No. Players enter the quiz code or open your link in a browser on their phone.

Can we play remotely?

Yes. Share the code on your video call. You can share the host screen so everyone sees the questions and standings together.

Does it need an internet connection?

Yes. Both the host and players need an internet connection to join, send answers and receive live updates.

Can I use my own questions and colours?

Yes. Upload your questions from Excel and set your brand colours. You can also use topic-based question banks.

Who decides whether a typed answer is correct?

The quiz checks typed answers, allowing for common variations. The host can review answers and accept or reject them.

Joining in

  • No app needed — players join in their phone’s browser with a 6-character code or a link.
  • Quick join or sign-in — let anyone in, or ask for an email code, Google or Facebook sign-in so each person plays once.
  • Your joining form — collect the details you need, such as name, school, class or city, with text boxes or drop-downs.
  • Indian languages — offer questions in English and up to 12 Indian languages, translated with Bhashini and checked by you.

Questions

  • Four question types — multiple choice, typed answers, True/False and opinion polls.
  • Pictures, audio and video — paste Google Drive links and the media is prepared for every screen automatically.
  • Forgiving typed answers — spelling slips, accents and capitals are allowed, and you can list other accepted answers.
  • Excel in, or one by one — upload a ready template that matches your settings, or add and edit questions on the page.
  • Question banks — serve a set number of questions per attempt, by topic, with must-ask questions and shuffled order.

Running the quiz

  • Host-paced — you open each question on the big screen and reveal the answer when you are ready.
  • Timed — the quiz runs by itself on each player’s phone, question by question, with the answer after each one.
  • Opening windows — set a time like 8–10 am and the quiz opens and closes on its own.
  • Attempts — allow more than one try; the best attempt counts.
  • Fix mistakes live — edit a question mid-quiz and answers are re-marked, or withdraw it and its points are taken back.
  • Sound your way — built-in quiz music and cues, your own track, or silence; phones can play media or stay quiet.

Scores and standings

  • Speed points — reward quick, correct answers so every second counts.
  • Live standings — top players with up/down movement after each question or only at the end, with confetti for the finish.
  • You have the final word — review every typed answer and accept or reject it; scores update instantly.
  • Results in Excel — every player’s details, answers, timings and points, plus the answer key.
